@alexedwards6509 Maybe do a bit of digging - The collection of slavery compensation is a good place to start alex. We could be here all night arguing who started the abolition. That doesn’t distract from it happening in the first place and why a small select rich families were given compensation rather than the slaves themselves. Do you think the British were in those countries for the benefit of them or what they could plunder from those countries resources? If you thought the first then you are delusional..
