And also Rob if you continued to pay NI contributions after your state pension age that must mean you are self employed and only pay peanut class 2&4 so please don’t hold out for any sympathy by paying £3.45 a week then as most self employed do lose everything though your accountant so that extra 9% is as little as possible…..

  3. Mike talking rubbish again. Most pensioners are mortgage free, a lot also benefitted from right to buy which has caused astronomical rents the 20 plus face today. Most pensioners vote for the Tories which have caused the UKs current problems from lack of GPs to the UK having third country status. And all pensioners got an 8.6% payrise this year. Not many (any) jobs got that increase. Stop moaning.
