First of all a lot of land was bought by the Jews from the Turks and Arabs . Second of all in every war there are refugees . Ancient Jewish quarter that was taken over by the Jordanians and all inhabitants there run into the Jewish side . Many synagogues were destroyed and the Jews were not allowed to visit their most holy place the Western wall, or Wailing wall , till 1967 . After the 6 day war.
I also want to point out to you, that from all the Arab countries Jews were thrown out more than a million Jews were thrown out with only the clothes on their backs , they lived at least 600 years in those countries, in some for two thus and years - Egypt, Iraq , Tunis Morocco, Libya Yemen , Syria , there are practically no Jews in those countries left , while in Israel there are two million Arabs - Muslims and Christians .
