  1. I solved my housing crisis by inheriting. The key is you need to choose the best parents you can, lol. It's funny, I'm adopted so I was chosen by a great family...now at 40 I'm like PLEASE can't a good woman choose me to have a loving family with? Can I luck out and get TWO 'man I'm glad the best people choose me' events in this life?

  3. Like, If you went to 1969 and told one of them "Hey, you gut the guy next to you and climb inside like a tauntaun, you might get shipped back to the US in his casket" they'd be like "So which guy next to me do I have to gut again, left or right?"

  4. "When I die, any debt I accumulate dies with me" HA. tell me you've had no death in your family without saying it. Fun fact, when you're married all your spouses debts become YOUR debts, when a parent dies, they'll come after what was left to you. THE SOLE WAY TO DO WHAT YOU SAY is to die completely alone, with nothing. No one to go after and nothing left for them to lose. Also no insurance. Fun fact, your life insurance goes to expenses first, out of a $20k policy on my mom we got like $2k back after funeral, transportation, storage, headstone, burial plot, because that check goes to the funeral home first...

  5. I own 100 acres and a house, and my property taxes are about $1200 a year, and we get $1k of that refunded as my father is a disabled vet. So I put that refund in investment so it earns interest and pays the taxes next year. Pretty soon I'll have that setup to prefund my taxes for decades, it's the only actual expense I have that could hurt me. I recommend it.
