  1. Miguel Moreno The Fed is a creation of Congress. The know if they don't play ball, the Treasury will take over and that will be the end of the Fed.

  2. Inflation in the U.S. is rising because productivity has dropped while much more currency is created. There's nothing to back the additional currency so we have inflation.

  3. Once inflation starts, it does not simply go away. Inflation only goes away when interest rates are raised above inflation and kept there until the currency (dollar) stabilizes or goes up.
