If you remember there were the cartoons issue, people were murdered because of them, and Erdogan blamed Denmark for having freedom of speech. How can anyone imagine THAT country in EU? It was always like that, I only was too stupid to see that.

First time I noticed that something is really rotten in turkish society is when I saw a survey that 75% of Turks approved to turn Haghia Sophia into a mosque. Don't get me wrong, Turks have every right to destroy their own monuments, but still, I don't see the "progressive Turks" that they are so advertised in the west.
