that means never?

I totally agree with that.
2
@Fabiocek Being "old country" isn't a criterion. Even if we believe that it's old.
2
@Konor L A Ok, fix your territorial issues and we talk again in 2 decades.
1
They have a say when these countries ask for their money.
1
@Konor L A Just a minute ago you tried to threaten with joining TR. Now you are threatening with joining EU. WTF? You saying "learn to respect or else..." + threats -> that's turkish kind of arguing. Not Albanian. Maybe you (personally) are too influenced already. "if we join Europe union all workers will migrate without any problem on Europe" That's a problem for Europe mainly. Just check which countries oppose the most.
1
@Konor L A People tend to realize that if someone is too much influenced from TR or China now, they might create more problems after they enter EU and have the right to VETO. It's easy to get "free things" from China and TR because they will never let you decide for them. They don't even let their own citizens veto their decisions 😂
1
@Konor L A Ok, move on with your long time friendships then. Why bother with EU?
1
@Konor L A " if EU continues mock with us ..." Start moving then. To whichever direction you want. No one needs another country which not only will get tons of money, but also the right to VETO and started blackmailing already.
1
@Konor L A Well good for you and keep up getting free stuff. When you make official union come again.
1
Yeah, we should deal with it, not accept more of it.
1
@kevinboros7427 Dealing with existing problems is difficult. Not accepting new ones seems easier.
1
@Konor L A I can't believe that I have to explain it: If tomorrow TR says "you get nothing more" you don't get anything. You don't have rights and responsibilities, you don't have the right to vote. Anyway, since you are very happy about it, move on and wish you are always lol. If you read the comments, no one actually cares.
1
Entering EU means right to veto. So it's a serious issue and it needs careful consideration. It's not like "they seem nice people, let' them in".
1
@dhimitridimitricukotsouko4603 I commenting on VETO only. You assumed all the rest to the point I'm wondering: are you ok dear?
1
@dhimitridimitricukotsouko4603 Let's say if all EU countries are in favor of a decision and Albania says no. That means it's a no. That's a HUGE decision EU countries need to make and after experiencing the last years abuse of this right by certain EU countries, EU is very unwilling to accept new ones. You didn't (or shouldn't) choose your wife based on "seems like a good girl, let's get married". Imagine that there is always an option for a divorce in a bad marriage, but there is no procedure to kick a country out of EU if she doesn't behave. So, no matter what kind of conspiracy theories you may have in mind, things are pretty simple for new countries wanting to get accepted in EU: EU is very careful from now on, especially thinking about the VETO rights.
1
@dhimitridimitricukotsouko4603 Most albanians seem to have the same agenda. I'm not so sure about the northern part and kosovars, who seem to have very different values and they might vote accordingly. But it's not even the point. As you said, first they have to make the reforms over veto rights, let it be tried and then EU can admit new countries.
1
@dhimitridimitricukotsouko4603 If you think it's a "right" you have to enter a union and not a choice they can make to accept you or not, it shows exactly what's wrong with your attitude and why EU should be very careful before allowing more entitled brats who are there only to take the money without making any attempt to throw away their 19th century sick mentality. It was very clear from your first angry reaction and the assumptions you made. You can disagree all you like. You have the right to CHOOSE if you want to become EU member or not. Unfortunately for you, so does EU -> THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE if they want to admit you or not.
1
@dhimitridimitricukotsouko4603 Unfortunately for you, Europeans no longer have the 19th century mentality for expansion. They care more to build stronger ties between the existing member states before they attempt to accept more countries under very specific terms. You are right again, I'm not pro balkan, especially the expansionist backwards balkan mentality, where everyone speaks with 19th century terms, exactly as your first reply to me.
1
@dhimitridimitricukotsouko4603 I hope you go back there to help them build a better future. Good day to you too!
1
No one asked your opinion. Europeans will decide, not UK.
1
@j.e546 Still none of your business. You are out and no one cares about your opinion.
1
@j.e546 They are supposed to not care. European issues are for Europeans. Othe countries should care about their own issues.
1
bull.
1
I always though slovenia as a small nice, peaceful country.
1
@chuckytehboy6168 Well I guess that's good news for you that no one wants you anyway, Sick 19th century people need to take their time to reach 21st century mentality.
1
@lekdukaxhini3392 Ok, thank you for your feedback. We will give some serious thought about your opinion when the time is appropriate.
1
@Konor L A TR doesn't have lengthy processes, the minute you say " I do" they will accept you. What are you waiting for then?
1
@kaanaslan3003 A good government isn't enough as long as there aren't strong institutions and independent justice system. At any time a dictator can be elected again. After all Erdogan's popularity isn't that low even now! Moreover I don't know any EU country who would like war zones in EU.
1
@Konor L A Oh, ok. Join TR then.
1
Slovenia why?
1
@ABC-ABC1234 It's not about the money, it's about the terrible human rights record TR has. It's the leader country in imprisoned journalists. Freedom of press is like middle eastern countries. They withdrew from the Istanbul Convention. And please, watch some international news and a bit less ahaber. Albania is closer in getting accepted.

Quite the opposite: they want Balkans to improve, become richer and create jobs. They need contributors to EU's economy.
1
@chuckytehboy6168 Just stay out and no one cares about you anyway.
1
@artsed08 Which countries matter in EU and which don't?
1
These people don't have right to VETO EU decisions. Mainly because they are people and not a country.
1
@Konor L A Who are you exactly to talk like that? Why on earth people from the poorest and most uneducated countries talk with that kind of arrogance and rudeness to people from other poor countries?
