The Germans had millions in slave labor too.

Gulags: we're running out of labor! Stalin: I think I know how to solve this problem.

@myyoutube4906 You say it was negligible, Khrushchev said victory would have been impossible without it. I'm going with Khrushchev.

@myyoutube4906 Yes, it was a massive chunk of Soviet supply. The US sent the Soviets more than 400,000 trucks, about twice as many as the Soviets produced themselves during the war. More than 4 million TONS of food was supplied. Without US and British aid the Red Army would have been crippled by logistical shortages and would never have gotten within 500 miles of Berlin. All the tanks in the world don't help you if their crews are starving and they have no fuel, ammo, or spare parts because your army's supply system has broken down.

57,000 T-34s produced during the war: Are we a joke to you?

@erikmartin4996 I'm not denying the vital role of Lend-Lease, but to say the Soviets contributed nothing materially is absurd.

The German offensive had run completely out of steam by December anyway, but the winter and 1942 would have looked very, very different. Of course, Japan's decision to go to war at all was lunacy.
