  2. I wonder how many of the people of Bruxelles knew, or cared, about this conference until the mayor acted as he did? Referring to the occupation of Bruxelles by the Germans during WW2 is the most ridiculous kind of diversionism. Bruxelles was occupied by the Boney's troops during the Napoleonic Wars. Should the good burghers who live there be scared of the French?
