  1. @sock '228,000 deaths in the UK.' Perhaps you misheard what was said at the time, on a daily basis? 228,000 may have died 'with' covid, but how may died 'of' covid? By that criterion, it was possible to be a covid statistic were someone to be run over by a bus after testing positive. Oddly, it is almost impossible to extract actual figures for 'of covid' from anyone. Odd, that.
