Are we to assume that Christian Wakeford approves of the events in London the other night? Christian, of course, with his Third in Politics from Lancaster University, defected from the Tory to the Labour Party, presumably in the hope of being chosen as their candidate in 2024. He chose not to resign and re-contest the seat, of course, presumably because Ethics was not part of his Lancaster degree course. Oddly, in July, 2021, Wakeford said asylum seekers 'are very often travelling through many safe countries. Essentially they have a shopping trolley as to what they want in this economic migration'. Perhaps this political titan has changed his opinion as quickly as he changed his party?
