  1.  @felix25ize  The British had a similar problem with their triple six inch turrets, which was solved when the centre gun was mounted slighty further back. This is clearly seen on photographs, and on HMS Belfast today.

  2. Richelieu nearly did, with the Haguro right at the end of the war. Like Cumberland, however, she wasn't fast enough.
