Frankly, what remains of the Tory Party is still squabbling among themselves like rats in a sack. I do apologise, as that is totally unfair. To the rats, that is.

I wonder if anyone even believes that Joe Biden knows that there is an election taking place?
1
@jeroldparker7766 Which 'lies' do you think I have love?
1
@elbentzo What you need to understand is that these people have been thoroughly programmed and indoctrinated since Primary School. As either Aristole or St. Ignatius Loyola said "Give me a child until he is seven and I will show you the man." Here, we see it in action. The alarming thing is that these blinkered creatures are likely to become senior Civil Servants, Members of Parliament, and University Dons, in the near future.
1
I wonder if a form of government which seems to have worked quite well in the Agora of a small Greek City-State in the 5th Century BC is really appropriate to a 21st century where opinions are entirely dictated by those who control the media.
1
One assumes that all people living there who cannot prove Maori ancestry will be given a reasonable amount of time in which to leave?
1
It is hardly news that the UN is populated almost entirely by extremists and chancers. It has been for years. Quite why supposedly intelligent political leaders treat it (or at least pretend to treat it) with the respect it does not deserve is a total mystery.
1
Don't blame him for walking out. The local McDonald's closes in fifteen minutes.
1
Why is it that those of a right of centre persuasion seem determined to split into factions, perpetually squabbling over a finite number of votes, and thus staying far from the levers of power? Rather like the various resistance groups bickering with each other in the 'Life of Brian' movie.

Perhaps you didn't listen, or simply blanked her comments? The slave trade only flourished because African tribal rulers and Arab slavers were eager to profit from it. Indeed, it pre-dated western involvement by at least 1500 years. Latin writers from the time of the Roman Empire sometimes referred to slaves as 'Aurum Arabicum' or Aurum Infelix.' - Arab gold, or wretched gold. The typical slave ship had a crew of 30 - 40. The ships transported trade goods from Britain to Africa, where they were exchanged for either prisoners taken in tribal wars, or members of the excess population. It simply could not have happened without the complicity of African rulers, and the indoctrinated myth that it was entirely the product of vast numbers of evil Britons rampaging across Africa kidnapping innocent and peaceful locals is ludicrous.

As Maori invaders eradicated the people they encountered when they landed, are the effects of Maori colonialism being addressed as well?
1
@birgittabirgersdatter8082 Many years ago, a writer called Cyril Kornbluth wrote a science fiction short story called 'The Marching Morons.' At least, it started out as a short story. Now it appears to have been more of a prophecy.
1
Surely you know the first think you are taught at Secret Service school? If the person you are protecting is under attack, make sure your dark glasses are on straight.
1
What persuaded the Australian government to conclude an agreement with France which would have provided them with such outdated boats in the first place?
1
Don't concern yourself. Harry will stamp his little foot down incessantly until his spineless amoeba of a grandfather grants him everything he demands. After all, hasn't that just happened over the uniform issue? What Harry wants, Harry gets. Doesn't he, Charles?
1
If this Karine person is worried about job security in view of impending events, perhaps she needs to know that Britain's Dear Leader, Sir Keir Starmer, is looking for a new Chief of Staff who doesn't worry much about integrity, nor honesty? She should get in touch, as she appears to tick most if not all of the required boxes. Furthermore, her suit resembles some of the free ones kindly given to the Dear Leader by his owner, Lord Alli.
1
@ithamarlowe6158 Which was averted when a staffer gave her a third bottle of Vodka, of course.
1
Well, I'm convinced! After over 20 years opening the batting for my club side, I intend to identify as a 14 years old girl in order to play in our under 15s women's team next year. I bet none of the opponents I meet will try to knock my head off with short pitched bowling in 2024. Wearing a frock for the Trophy Presentation Night might be a bit awkward, however.
1
How does this affect Joe Biden? His defence team will simply contend that his incipient dementia render him unfit to plead. He can then return to being President of the United States.
1
To hear some of the media comments about the speech, one would believe that Biden was the modern Demosthenes, delivering a particularly brutal Philippic. Or should that be 'Donaldic' perhaps?
1
No it doesn't. It does lend credence to the fact that Titanic had been on the seabed for over 110 years, and is breaking up, though.
1
But, apparently, the Dear Leader tells us that we are all 'Willing.'
1
@clarkisaac6372 The same trick is being played by any media outlet which fails to make available the whole meeting. All 50+ minutes of it. I doubt that the media has been so keen on the idea of war since early 1914, to be honest.
1
@Daz759 'Are you saying sky news are any better?' John 19 22. Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” If, of course, your question is addressed to me.
1
Hello there, your Holiness. Good to hear from you!
1
Likes the word 'literally' doesn't his speechwriter?
1
Professor Andrews. A professor in an invented subject, and a professional race grifter. I imagine he gets on well with the BBC's pet race propagandist, David Olusoga, of 'Beachy Head Lady' infamy.
1
And Islam isn't political?
1
As a cricket fan, apparently racist, sexist, and classist, I am told, I would like to interview Marnus Labuschagne & Steve Smith. Providing that it stops them playing in the next test, of course. Dammit ! Too late.
1
@evaristus4821 You must be very old, and very wedded to mesolithic levels of development.
1
What branch of Christianity would consider Sharpton suitable for ordination?
1
The left are never able to leave politics out of anything.
1
SUTTYMCFC I would like to believe that, but have doubts.
1
@kiranholt3296 Except that the monarchy in the UK achieves approval ratings that politicians could only dream about. Two words immediately silence any support for a Republic here. 'President Blair.'
1
The traditional British term for that condition is 'Tired and emotional.' Several glasses of vodka, or pints of beer, tend to create the condition.
1
That isn't the way it works. When a left-winger makes an outrageous statement, they use the 'Freedom of Speech' argument to justify it. However, when someone else makes an argument which disagrees with them, the same left-wingers scream hysterically for cancellation of the villain concerned. Since the idea of education was abolished in favour of indoctrination, this will become increasingly the norm. George Orwell predicted it years ago.
1
@pindapoy214 View this :- 'Australia in ‘a terrible lot of trouble’ with $90b ‘con-job’ submarine program' from June, 2021. This shows firstly that the Australians were having increasing misgivings about the contract, and also the President Macron knew all about those misgivings, but doesn't seem to have shown any inclination to act.
1
@pindapoy214 'My country?' What makes you think I am Australian? The nearest I have ever been to Australia is, as an opening bat, facing a couple of their fast bowlers who were proing for opposing teams, and doing it rather well, dammit! Read the post to which I referred earlier.
1
Unfair. Harris has already demonstrated that she can climb the steps into an aircraft without falling over. How much more do Americans expect of their President?
1
May I respectfully suggest that how people actually vote on such issues is less important than how those employed to count the votes say that they voted?
1
There was an equally awful travesty, 'The ABC Murders' about five years ago. Starring John Malkovich as the detective, brutally mistreated by the RAYCIST!!!' British. It is almost compulsory these days.
1
'UK Labour looking like a ‘clown freakshow’ ' Nonsense they are not 'looking like' one at all. They simply are one.
1
You Australians should immediately give up imperialist sports like cricket, and send the Urn back to Britain. p.s. PLEASE!!!!
1
Good to see that many Australian politicians are just as intellectually lacking as most of the ones we have in Britanistan.
1
Perhaps she would have been happier if a couple of minor royals appeared in 'Blackface' and appropriate costumes?
1
You don't consider that the many American and British pilots who served their respective countries were equally worthy of awards, albeit not ones as tinselly as this one?
1
Why not simply build Ships of the Line? It worked for the British in the 18th Century. This should be the official Green Party defence policy.
1
@alexandarthedivine I suspect that you haven't seen the whole of the meeting?
1
Aren't 80 years old pop stars so absolutely sure that they know everything about everything?
1
The lady is entirely accurate in her comments. Without the co-operation of African rulers and Arab traders, the trade would not have been possible. A typical slave ship had a crew of 30 - 40. It arrived with trade goods, which were enthusiastically accepted in exchange for slaves, generally either the excess population, or prisoners from local wars. Moreover, slavery in Africa pre-dated western involvement by at least 1500 years. As the discussion was about British involvement, by the way, how are the excesses of Belgium and Germany relevant? I don't hear any criticism of any other country than Britain.
