Would Australia really have been better off had it remained undiscovered, and stayed at a mesolithic, hunter-gather, level of culture, where life expectancy was 35 at most?

@kermitthehermit9588 In what way has the Industrial Revolution been a disaster? It's true that we don't share the benefits very well with poor people, especially poor people in Third World countries. But societies were no more equal or caring before industrialization, so why is it the fault of the Industrial Revolution?
