If. you listen to them, what they did makes a lot of sense, while in quarantine they were on zoom calls with their Chinese counterparts, no time was wasted. They visited places and looked at tests. done. They got to ask all the questions and explore all the options with the Chinese teams. Excellent discussion with more attempts scheduled. Understand that Virologists in every country talk to each other regularly and visit each other. There are American and European virologists who have 17 year and longer relationships with virologists in China. It is all a big surprise to us, but they have been collaborating for years to do what they could to protect global health.
