  1. For Guterres to say, "little else can be resolved globally before the fighting stops" is absurd. And yet another example of the extreme hyperbole that he seems prone to. If he honestly believes that, then he shouldn't be leading the UN, imo. Or maybe he's just trying to create a cover narrative to excuse his ineffectiveness.
