He had many second chances. He was pulled over many times for speeding. Some people will never learn and now he has killed two people. He deserves every second of those 24 years. He can consider himself lucky. If he were a bit older he would have gotten a life sentence.
1
He did it intentionally
1
That's one of the dumbest comments I ever seen 🤣
1
The killer of a mother and a child doesn't deserve a second chance.
1
He deserves every second of those 24 years.
1
50 in total
1
Once your entire family is brutally killed you can talk.
1
Another reason why Islam is bad
1
He knew he could kill someone.
1
It wasn't an accident. Racing is not just a trivial offense, it's a serious crime because it is so dangerous. He knew exactly what he was doing is wrong and illegal and highly dangerous. He was intentionally putting innocent lives in danger. Racing is not an accident. He willingly killed two people. He knew all the risks and dangers. It was a conscious and deliberate decision to put innocents in danger.
1
You are wrong. It was an intentional crime. She knew what she was doing is wrong and illegal and highly dangerous. She accepted the possibility of killing someone when she decided to drive while being drunk. She knew the dangers and the consequences and risks.
1
@nad1ax2 If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. She knew exactly what she was doing. He knew the risks.
1
@nad1ax2 She knew the law. She knew that what she did is illegal and dangerous. She just didn't care.
1
It's only 24 years. That's nothing compared what he did to the victims
1
No. He explains it because it's his job.
1
@timelinescandals I pity you
1
@meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmw I hope so
1
This is a life sentence
1
@benjaminbingaman1848 Look at how old she is. Her life is over
1
@benjaminbingaman1848 Exactly
1
It's unlikely that she even lives so long considering the average lifespan in the US is 73.
1
You are delusional
1
That's literally impossible
1
Yes, but most of the time they're justified. In this case she selfishly and recklessly killed 3 innocent people.
1
Please research this properly before you write such nonsense.
1
A car is not a toy. When you drive like that that's not different than shooting a gun.
1
That is not possible. He must serve at least 85% of the time before he can even apply for parole. That's the law.
1
@rlaiin2983 It's not her fault. She was legally crossing the street. She was careful, she looked around. There was no way she could have predicted that they would be racing with a speed of over 100 mph through a residential area. She never had a chance
1
This is not an accident. She knew what she was doing is wrong and illegal and highly dangerous. She intentionally put innocents in danger
1
@mikezentack3723 I never did. And if I would then I'm fully responsible for my actions. And she's fully responsible for her actions.
1
The trial took 3 years. Some cases in the US take a long time.
1
I'm serious
1
Because that's his job
1
The other guy didn't kill anyone.
1
You are sick
1
@kacksipopo771 No, they wouldn't have been dead because he would have had the time to properly react to the situation. Everything would have been fine if he just followed the law. And you said it was an accident. That is factually wrong. An illegal street race is not an accident. They said it perfectly in the court "it was a crash, not an accident". So yes, 24 years sounds ok for killing two innocent people.
1
He is a true killer and criminal
1
It wasn't an accident. He's a criminal and a killer
1
He wasn't
1
What? No. 24 years are 24 years. He will get out in 2045.
1
@Lectiophile-08 I don't know where you're from or what laws do you have. But that's not happening in the US. In the USA 1 year is one 1 year. And 24 years are 24 years.
1
@shooy713 You are either lying or highly ignorant. Do your research before you write such nonsense.
1
What is wrong with you
1
I don't know what's worse. The people signing it or to think that a petition is actually going to change the sentence. Petitions don't work like that!
1
She was legally crossing the street. He deserves every second of those 24 years in prison and nothing is going to change that.
1
@kingkobrazx She did. They were so fast there was nothing she could have done.
1
Luckily it's not true
1
He can ask for parole after completing 80% of the sentence. But there must not be a single incident in all those years.
1
Why?
1
He got 24 years
