Wrong! He did an illegal and highly dangerous street race. He knew exactly what he was doing is wrong and illegal and highly dangerous. He was intentionally racing with a speed of 102 mph through a residential area with sidewalks on both sides and a speed limit of 40. The mother was legally crossing the street. He is a criminal and a killer. He deserves every second of those 24 years in prison.

@bravo-charlierandomyeetsav8310 Not every street has a pedestrian crosswalk or a traffic light. And when there's no car in sight you're free to cross the street. He on the other hand was doing an illegal and highly dangerous street race.

Not just an accident. Racing is not an accident. It was a conscious choice to put innocents in danger.

@karolinagrzybowska7195 She was legally crossing the street. The court made it clear that she had every right to be there. And absolutely nothing would have happened if he didn't do an illegal and highly dangerous street race.

That's not illegal. She was legally crossing the street. It's 100% his fault.

People need to drive responsible.

@saraali1538 But it was. He was racing with a speed of 102 mph. He admitted that, his lawyer admitted, witnesses testified that, the police testified that and at last the black box proved it.

The trial took 3 years. Some cases in the US take a long time.

Killing must have consequences. When he decided to do an illegal and highly dangerous street race he accepted the possibility of killing someone. And now he has to face the consequences for his crimes. Two innocent people are dead because he decided that having fun is more important than their lives. That's not just a mistake. That was a choice he made.

No. She was legally crossing the street. She only got hit because Cameron was doing an highly dangerous and illegal street race. He was racing racing with a speed of 102 mph through a residential area with sidewalks on both sides and a speed limit of 40. Of course you don't have the time to see someone in time. Had he been driven responsible with an appropriate pace he would have had the time to see and then react to it accordingly. He decided that having fun is more important than people's lives. It's 100% his fault.
