But each and every one was brutally crushed and killed until no one dared to even question them in public. Unfortunately that's how a fascist regime works. If I vote for the Democrats that means that I'm against the Republicans. I wanted something different than the Republicans. Membership numbers doesn't mean anything. They were a fascist dictatorship. If you wanted to have a good career in any field then a membership would be essential. Soldier numbers doesn't count either. That was literally their job. And desertion was punished by death. The Nazis never had a full majority. The vast majority of the German people were against Hitler and the Nazis. That statement is a fact.
