agreed, theres no need for the constitution to be tampered with. The indigenous need to improve them selves more than anything else, and lifting the grog ban hasent helped them.

@beepbeep6861 What difference does it make whether they asked for it or not?...Please inform those of us, that need to know, did the first nations people ever refuse the money thats been offered to them by the Australian government?....or did they say, 'No thank you, well provide for ourselves'?.

@Jakejackson1980 why should it be changed to accommodate the voice?. Do the indigenous not have representatives in parliament already?.

@Jakejackson1980 This is 2022, there are many indigenous in parliament, everyone over the age of 18 can vote, and the indigenous, who make up maybe 4% of the population get over $30 Billion spent on them each year. How exactly do you think changing the constitution is going to help them? ...scrapping political correctness would help them far more.
