  1.  Big Dick Black  Cool story. Meanwhile rates, in this case, only serve to hide the obvious. So many people are moving out of California, as compared to moving in, that the largest moving truck rental in the Country can't keep up with demand. That's not a common thing. It's not like U-Haul has been running out of trucks in California for decades. It's not due to poor planning on their part. It's due to an influx of people leaving - that was large enough to more than offset those who were moving in.

  2. If California's outflow is less than their inflow, how did U-Haul run out of trucks in California last year? Every year they make a list of States ranked by the number of people entering/leaving, based on their rentals for the year. California ranked dead last and they couldn't even get an accurate count because they ran out of trucks and then couldn't keep enough of them coming back in to meet the needs of those leaving. If there are more people moving to California than leaving, there should be plenty of U-Haul trucks to go around, shouldn't there?
