You can't even have GLASSES in many bars, because of the risk of fights, and they want to carry GUNS? I have worked in bars, and the one thing you DO NOT WANT is weapons of any kind in there, because when you are drunk, you are more likely to become aggressive, and your judgement is severely impaired.

@flamedrag18 actually, what happens in such cases where people ARE armed in that situation, is that they don't know who is doing the actual shooting. The guy who disarmed Laughtner nearly got shot himself. Here is how it happens: Shots are fired, everybody draws their guns, but you don't know who fired, so you shoot the guy with a gun in his hand, but that might not be the right guy because you did not see who fired. People get caught in crossfire all the time.

@celt67 ... and when drunk people get into fights, their aim is not all that trustworthy, and innocent people will get hurt...
