  1. This was all deliberate. They set the whole thing up to fail, because massive inflation of stock prices and book value inflates executive bonuses, and betting against the failed bonds also does the same, and the whole thing is an overinflated house of cards, and if you remove the wrong people, the whole lot goes down. And that is by design, because if people are scared to prosecute, they never go to prison.
