  1. They want to keep everybody ignorant, because THAT way, they can get away with a lot more stuff. That's why they are all so very very into religion. By saying so, they can guaranteee that the religious people will vote for them. There are very few atheists in elected office. There are more Muslims in Washington than there are declared atheists.
