They believe ALL the paranoid conspiracy theories when it comes to those who are not conservatives, whether it be the birther conspiracies,conspiracies to shove homosexuality down your throat,anything that the rightwing talk show hosts can think of, they will believe it. Being truly scheptical is something that REAL scientists do.

The anti-science crowd are simply trying to make more profit, we have seen it when the tobacco industry and asbestos industry were putting forth their own studies that said their products were not harmful, the churches trying to stop evolution being taught anywhere, the coal and oil industries trying to stop antipollution laws,

Even if there IS no global warming (ask almost every reputable meteorologist whether there is global warming and he will say there is) such measures are good, because we are RUNNING OUT OF OIL. We had a lot of trouble keeping up during the last few years, the price has been skyrocketing, and only the economic collapse has slowed down our consumption. Having more efficient cars and powerstations etc is a GOOD IDEA. It is NOT an anticapitalist plot. You are being paranoid.

  11. They don't like science. They did not like it when Darwin came up with the theory of Evolution. They did not like it when doctors warned about cigarettes and asbestos. They did not like it when scientists warned about CFCs and leaded fuels. They did not like it when scientists started talking about global warming. Face it. The conservatives dont like it when scientists open their mouths because people are making money from harming people.

  12. It will be sooner than that... Have you seen New Orleans lately? Of course, Oklahoma may benefit in that there would be less cold air to cause the twisters... However, the climate in Oklahoma is far more likely to dry out, creating permanent dustbowl bigger than anything in the 1930s.
