@VigilanteNighthawk The stock market is bubbling, because the ultrarich have massive amounts of money, but they have nowhere else to invest it, because the poor have no money, so there is little profit in investing in things for poor people to spend their money on. So the stock market will bubble, bubble, bubble until the bubble collapses once more. That is what supply side economies do.

@gil050489 It is the difference between boiling water and boiling oil. Imagine what a nightmare McCain/Palin would have been. Instead of starting from a progressive position and caving, McCain and Palin would have started from a rightwing position and then gotten more rightwing from there, like they are doing in Wisconsin and Maine.
