Well, if you go that far back, you might as well go back to where THOSE people got their money, Russia in presoviet times was in the grip of slavery and serfdom, with gigantic levels of illiteracy. But that is not what I was talking about. The fact is, that the people who were hiding money in Cyprus were hiding it for a reason, and such reasons usually involve highly illegal practices. These people are not saints, you don't get rich in Russia without some serious unethical behavior.

In my videos, some of those connections I make are JOKES,I know they are jokes,they're for my own amusement.However,when it comes to high finance,the connections ARE there.It's like a house of cards,and the ones who take the greatest risk with OUR money(unless there are rules or laws that effectively stop them) are given the greatest reward,and take none of the risk themselves.There is no risk,but huge reward,so they go automatically for the dirivatives which promise the most regardless of risk

  8. Ah, yes, when you can't go up against the argument, go up against the spelling. We are not talking about agricultural futures dirivaaaaaaaaaaaaatives here, in the case of Cyprus, we are talking about the subprime mortgage dirivatives which were basically bad mortgages (mortgages that the banks knew would fail) sliced up, packaged up and sold (and then had placed credit default swaps, an insurance plan) against them by the bank. Also Greek assets like airport earnings futures were ALSO sold.

American subprime mortgage securities.They got dumped in Greece, and then the Americans also loaned money to greece in return for dirivitives based on income from airports and other infrastructure, in order to get Greek debt down in order to satisfy the EU.

  10. Except that what usually happens is that the honest operators tend to get muscled out by the gangsters. That is what happens in every highly profitable industry, anywhere there is easy money, the gangsters will move in, particularly where there is no rule of law.

A good size of the profits for most banks do, mostly because they make it easy to package and trade things that are intangable, such as the future earnings from farms, mortgages and insurance policies, and insurance policies against losses against the dirivatives composed from farm, mortgage and insurance policies.

  13. That quadrillion dollar mark, is not the value of the dirivitives market, it is the value of the market IF all the dirivitives pay off to the maximum amount. It is like saying a million dollar lottery is worth a trillion dollars because all the lottery tickets have the potential to win a million dollars. It is just some dumb and deliberately misleading accounting that gives the quadrillion dollar figure.

  14. The trouble is, the Euro covers too many nations, and can't naturally adjust because each of the nations has a separate economy, some are weaker than others.
