There is a reason why the government gets put in charge of certain things: Either those things can't be done on a for profit basis, or private industry should not be allowed to do those things on a for profit basis, because of corruption or inefficiency. Or both.

@jeffxl12 Halliburton are not stupid,they know EXACTLY how to pad out a contract. Like driving massive empty convoys all the way across the most dangerous parts of Iraq because they get paid per convoy.

@romanmir01 There are a large number of crimes involving interstate commerce and movement and so forth. Where it is federal laws that are being violated, the federal police are called upon.

@romanmir01 Guns on planes (even pilots) is a MASSIVELY BAD IDEA. You know what happens when you let off a gun in an aircraft cabin? Depressurisation. All the air gets sucked out, and even if the cabin does NOT break apart due to the pressure, all the passangers and crew can't breathe, and the whole lot has to go into a steep emergency dive. By the way, how many hijackings have occurred in America since 911, with absolutely no guns on board?
