I wonder what you would say if a left winger was punching a right winger in the face and the rightwinger shot him in self defence?

He is not going to prison for assault, he has gotten the opportunity to go on national TV and shout "assault,assault" and cry out that he has been victimised, at the cost of the tip of his pinky finger. There are a lot of people who would give the tip of their pinky finger to get that kind of exposure. He should face the full consequences of his actions, whatever the penalty for assault in that district is.
