  4. widely trusted? No. Their top shows get a million viewers. Sounds great, but that is out of 300 million people. The majority of people prefer to get their news ANYWHERE ELSE, online, newspapers, other news networks, even Comedy Central. And you know what the funny thing is, those who watch Comedy Central's news shows, the Daily Show and the Colbert Report, THEY are consistantly surveyed as being the best informed, and FOX viewers are consistantly the most erroneous on current events.

And other polls which asked people who they watch and asked them about particular news stories showed that FOX viewers usually got the news stories WRONG, and were even more misinformed than those who deliberately don't read or watch news AT ALL. And the best informed? Viewers of the Daily Show and Colbert Report.

Actually, people who get most of their news from FOX are more DISINFORMED, meaning that they are more likely to believe a falsehood than simply not know about a subject. You are better off asking somebody who never follows the news about a particular topic. Meanwhile who are best informed? Those who watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report on Comedy Central.

  8. I made a comment on a howtheworldworks video once... Only one, because even though it was only pointing out one error, I got blocked. And that happens on a LOT of conservative channels.
