  4. Often like my old mum was asset rich cash poor and had lived in the same house for over half a century. It was just her home which had cost £5200 in 1963 !

  11. Because the alternative to 2nd homes is central London hotel accommodation which is more expensive. If you represent a constituency outside London and work in Westminster and are expected to work in Westminster and vote in late night sessions, its the only practical solution !
