  1. Perhaps it's because most people are apathetic, lazy, don't want to get involved and would rather leave it to someone else to do for them. Someone else is then to blame when things don't meet their expectations. Responsibility is just frightening for them. Perhaps I'm cynical or just a realist ?

  2. The more you put into capitalism the greater the benefits. Being in business for yourself involves risks that others aren't prepared to take, lets not forget that many businesses fail and there owners loose everything,

  6.  @janewayles499  Wrong, neither were. Whilst John Lewis is a Partnership this is because its founder of the same name started an experiment into a better way of doing business by involving staff in the decision making of how the business would be run. Where do you get your information from ?

  7.  @jagolago-bob  Not sure you quite understand the difference between a worker and a business owner ? Whilst many companies were started by people who previously worked for someone else (a worker), the moment they decided to set up in business for themselves they became an owner.
