@mkspeedlab9335 Totally agree, my cars a 2009, so not even that modern & it puts out 90% of peak torque by 1800rpm, well under the stall limit - then it's a flat torque curve all the way to 6000rpm when the smallish turbo runs out of puff. It has WAY more punch off the line than any N/A car I've driven under 6 litres & from the lights it'll often destroy N/A cars with significantly more peak power than it has, simply because of all that immediate torque. It's a 4 litre mind you, I've never owned a small engined turbo car, or a manual turbo, they might be a different story.
