  1. Exactly!! You were smart and learnt some nasty hurtful lessons - instead of crumbling. I also wanted to say from growing up with the Beano and other comics, they taught me about the real world - like how to deal with bullying and also how to solve problems because the bolshi characters were always getting into scrapes and finding ingenious ways to save their backsides! My own kids did that too! It also made us confident to go out and have our own adventures...
