A brilliant encapsulation, Alan. I'm a kindred spirit. I particularly like your 'History is a record of human stupidity'. Of course, the corollary is that it's also a record of how intelligent humans managed to overcome the stupidity of the stupid humans' and their reliance on bullying and over-emotionalism on which they rely to advance themselves and their immature and ill-thought out idées fixes. A big problem now is that IQ levels have been steadily falling for several decades.

@catrionagordon9563 Thank you for your informative response.Yes, this is straight out of Orwell. It's disingenuous to ask such questions. Anyone who was in university over the last 30 years knows the background to all of this. Not sure who the 'certain group' is though.

@Geokinkladze Yes, I wrote that phrase because of the algorithms! I learnt about cultural marxism at uni years ago. What's going on now is not apparent to most people, the roots of wokeism are hidden.
