Yes, some of my Scottish family were driven out of Scotland at the point of a Redcoat's musket, they had to go overseas. Then there's the other side from whom the British confiscated property worth $millions in 'war reparations' even though my family members were either shot by the Nazis or thrown into concentration camps for protesting against the Nazis. The remaining family became penniless war refugees on 3 continents. Let me tell you that being a war refugee in the UK back then was brutal, no cushy hotels, no hand outs, no transport and entertainment... Can I have reparations now?

@@TerryBell1968 Your comment is deeply offensive. My grandmother was there. She witnessed who shot who. The Nazis shot her relatives. The town put up a statue of them in the 1980s. Again, your comment is deeply offensive.

Of course it's a nonsense, you're spot on. This is yet another attack from those globalistic cabals that are determined to destroy the UK. First, let's work out how much the UK has given the claimant nations over the past 70 years - and is still giving. The list of the 3000 Brits who owned slaves is online for anyone to peruse freely. Let the claimants sue their many descendants. But then,we'd have to counterclaim for the scores of thousands of RN sailors who lost their lives in the major naval operation over many years and left their families bereft of income and with diminished life opportunities. No doubt the UK could consider claiming for the workhouse costs.

With a rogue dictatorship nation on their exclusive security council, I should say they have.

@secondchance6603 It seems very clear that the UK is under a sustained attack, with hits coming from several different directions and forms. This latest one, from the UN of all places, is irresponsible to say the least. Not to mention pie-in-the-sky. Btw, the UN already knows how poverty-stricken the UK really is outside the 'golden mile' of London financiers. Their last Special Rapporteur, who did an on-the-ground investigation into UK poverty a couple of years ago, reported that poverty in the UK is almost Dickensian. This is the story that was buried when it should have been front page for months.

That and destroying the UK.
