Moses wanted to control his unruly people so he made up 10 commandments and (being a stone mason) carved them onto a stone slab. He then took the slab up a mountain, set fire to a bush and returned saying 'God' has given you a sign and sent you these commandments. Muhammad copied the idea of a 'God', to gain control of his people. After that religion took hold and although false, has been difficult to disprove (until now).

@miscgar9663 Your religion has fed you false information, because the real truth about evolution proves that 'man' and all life forms on Earth were not created by any 'god'. Religious traditionalists objected to theories of evolution being taught in schools because it proved that a 'god' did not create man. Evolution is actually the way in which living things change and develop over millions of years, and has been proved to be true by 7 different methods. Religions are just cults with followers worshiping 'gods' that don't exist. The only difference between believers and non believers is that believers don't understand evolution.

Which religion kills women for not wearing its foolish clothing? Which religion hijacks planes to fly into buildings? Which religion is the only religion to use suicide bombers? Which religion ordered the killing of Salman Rushdie? Which religion promises 70 virgins in heaven to its killers? Which religion denies pays people to kill others? Which religion promises good, but delivers evil? Which religion collects Zakat for the poor, but invests it instead, and is now worth 4 Trillion Dollars? Which religion is so controlling it destroys peoples lives? All over the world intelligent people are realizing that there is no 'God' and are leaving religion. All over the world less intelligent people are becoming Muslims

The sun is, in reality, 'god'. We used to worship the Lord that shines above but some fool invented an invisible 'god', and our Lord the Sun got neglected. The explanation of the sun's existence is lengthy. I hope you can understand my shortened version. 'Big Bangs' are happening all over the universe, each one creating its own little universe with planets travelling away in all directions. As the planets at the extremities collide with other planets from other universes they form larger and larger masses. As these masses get bigger their gravitational force becomes so strong that other planets are drawn in until the mass becomes unstable. Eventually the mass 'explodes' and is another 'big bang' creating another universe from material it pulled in. This material is molten initially. The gravity of each molten lump makes it round before it has chance to cool and become a planet. The larger lumps of material take longer to cool, and in our case, form a Sun.

@alifiamd9963 Much of the Quran's content is influenced by the work done by Egyptian scientists and astronomers. Most of the rest is just stories made up to support the Idea of a 'god'. The Bible is just the same. Evolution has proved that Man was not created by any 'god'. The 'big bang' is not mentioned in the Quran. The text has been misinterpreted to include an event which threatened to disprove a 'gods' creation of the universe. Religion is a false idea, created to control people, albeit for the benefit of mankind.

@Smogi_5267 I realized long ago that the reality of a 'God' was impossible, so I left my religion. The frailty of the human mind makes us want to believe that there is someone up there looking after us, and fear of death makes us want to believe that we will never die. After much deep thought I realized that we had been tricked by our ancestors who wanted us to behave in a better way for the benefit of society. My belief is so strong that I have an negative feeling towards the people who sustain and propagate religion, and happily take our Zakat (already invested to a value of 4 trillion dollars). Your belief may make you happy so stick with it, but 'God' IS a myth. You have all convinced yourselves that Allah exists because you want to believe it. The Scientific evidence that proves that 'God' did not create 'Man' or our Universe, has been denied by Islam because they don't want you to believe it. Believers are living in a false world, created by very clever people in the past. 'God' only exists in the minds of believers. The only difference between believers and non believers is that believers don't understand evolution.

@abdulhai439 'Allah has never fixed anything. Religion only brings more poverty. It does make poverty easier to cope with as people are deluded in their belief in a 'god'.
