Imagine a world where everyone realised the more socialistic an economy is, the pooooorer it's economy is already or will become and the more capitalistic an economy is, the wealthier the economy and place will be. Governments should have no artificial monopolies over anything economically. The market should be 100% privatised, 100% de-regulated and 100% free from ALL coercion from government. I can imagine a world almost that economically great in the old West & New World. As early back as the 19th century, we saw the largest expansion of growth in technology/industry in centuries and lifted millions of people out of poverty. Then world war 1 happened in the early 20th and everything, EVERYTHING, changed. The world wars were such a detriment to the belief in small government. These conflicts instilled within people that large governments are necessary to protect them from invasion. Money cannot be sound in an environment like this. It's been that way ever since.
