@danrayson sea shells and gold look beautiful. Personally, I don't assign much value to gold but clearly most people, particularly women do for whatever subjective, sentimental, passionate, emotional, or expressive reasons they have. Therefore, gold has value in the market as money. Bitcoin and the vast, vast, vast majority of 'crypto'-'currencies' certainly don't. They are meaningless digital information as far as I can tell.
