I wonder why they don't sell those electric vehicles more inexpensively instead of keeping them as permanent inventory to eventually be 'piled up'; especially since they would likely still be able to make a profit by selling their electric vehicles inexpensively because of the significant subsidies they're receiving.

  4. Many of the cars are so-called 'sold EVs'. They're not being kept as official assets of the EV companies and are non-appearing 'assets' on their balance sheets. This is because the car companies are claiming they sold the electric vehicles, whilst still storing them outside as though they're hardy plants.

  7. It would make the ev brands look generous and more successful as their cool cars are seen being purchased and popularly driven on roads (i.e. reliable and trendy).
