  4. 1 South African Pound = 10 US Dollars on January 1, 1864. The Pound to Rand change was only a change of language/culture (out of Boer nationalism) 1 South African Rand = 0.71 USDs now... South Africa's hyperinflation has been slow but steady.

Kiwis & Aussies complain about lower class people getting taxed more than jn other countries, and they complain about having 'the highest inequality in the world' not realising that we've the most free market gov'ts with the most communistic people.
