  2. "We May Not Have Taken Everything Into Consideration" could have been ArmaLite's company motto, if it wasn't "Bad Timing Every Time". AR-5? Designed as a crew gun for a fleet of bombers that were never built. AR-10? Too far ahead of its time, but not far enough ahead to outrun the old boy procurement network. AR-15? Got discouraged by the AR-10's failure, sold the rights juuust before it became insanely lucrative for someone else.
