  1. mglmouser My favorite example of this phenomenon, just for the "huh?" factor, was a restaurant near where I used to live in California that had a sign proudly announcing that it was called "KIRIN: Cuisine de Northern China". (The restaurant still exists, but its website and Google Street View both show that the tagline is now "cuisine of Northern China". I'm slightly disappointed that they fixed that. It's a bit less charmingly daft now. :)
