@schattensand about the carrier

It could be Russia not wanting to pay late delivery fees
1
@abellix still , 300 billion is frozen not taken away. It would be a worse look for Russia id the pipeline was up and they were under delivering , now nobody knows who did what
1
@abellix give me evidence it was the west

@joecasey7415 late delivery fees. Since Russia wasn't delivering as much as was required by the contracts , the EU would've had ground to request late delivery fees .those fees would only be voided if it became impossible to deliver the amounts as per the contracts
1
@joecasey7415 if it had opened Russia hadn't delivered it then there would've been a problem
1
@joecasey7415 because they were trying to put pressure on Europe
1
@joecasey7415 if they had done that then the Europeans would be entitled to late delivery fees
1
@joecasey7415 the contracts stipulated that if Russia didn't deliver the gas it was contractually obligated to within a certain timeframe, the European Union was entitled to late delivery fees Russians wanted to freeze Europe because they support Ukraine, if they had just stopped the gas flow then Europe would demand late delivery fees I'm not saying they absolutely did it but they have their own motives
1
@joecasey7415 1) economy relays on trust . If their reputation is damaged by voiding contracts then it's going to hurt them 2)it would make them look bad , Russians want to win hearts and minds too 3)by the contracts Europes claims for late fees would be voided if Russia physically couldn't deliver the gas
1
@joecasey7415 we don't know who did this Russia has its own reasons
