  2. I have read many books on the English monarchs. There has never been a divorced queen. Widows, like Katherine Parr, yes. But never a divorced queen. And the Church of England didn't perform a marriage ceremony for Charlie and Cowmilla. They were married in a civil ceremony at the Windsor Town Hall. Then the church performed a "blessing" , but not a wedding. In the eyes of the Anglican Church they are not married. So how can the archbishop legally crown her as queen?
