Sure it’s policy for Qantas to wear masks but they don’t all do it. I used Qantas 4 times last week so I witnessed how they don’t. A had an old grump of an air hostess that would rudely click her fingers in people’s faces to get their attention whilst they were asleep. Upon landing my window shade was down about a quarter of an inch and she leaned over to me and said “that’s supposed to be all the way up you know” And was surprised when I said “so is your mask” She was wearing it on her chin with her mouth and nose exposed.
