  2.  Tamky west  That’s the point. He should have been tried for treason and this statue should never have existed. Anyone who hangs their hat on 1861-1865 being their culture or history is a racist. Abraham Lincoln, a Republican president must have been rolling in his grave when not even a century later his republican party honoured his foes.

When faced with the opportunity to support human rights and the abolition of slavery and the end of personal ownership of rights less human beings, I select to morally support that. When a bunch of racists take up arms against their government in order to preserve their right to own human beings and do whatever they want to them. I select morals which says screw those guys and should have executed every last one of them instead of erecting statues of their ‘visionaries’. And you’re an obvious racist even replying to me about this. So screw you pal.
