  1. You people thinking an organised group are lighting these fires are lunatics. For a group to do something on this scale. They would need to communicate. Their communications could be tracked. There are no communications to be tracked. Nothing. Fires are mostly lit by kids, pyromaniacs, the mentally ill and people who are sometimes just a complete arsehole.   2. Wade Brown It happens every summer and it’s like this every 10 to 15 years. The reduction in fire management due to the libs caving to greens demand for preferences, combined with a drought, etc. massive fires. This was predicted in April /May of last year

  5. Hand Solo How? 170 odd died in Victoria a decade ago. Mathematically, there are no more fires this year than usual . They are just more intense this year due to drought, record temps, and fuel loads on the ground. There are 50000-60000 fires on average every fire season. This year is not expected to exceed that. They have simply burnt many more hectares than usual as of the reasons I have given above. Prove me wrong.

  6. Hand Solo You seem to be ignoring the fact that there are no more fires than usual, but we have drought, widespread reduction in fire management, and record temps. Or that these fires were predicted by rfs in April/May of 2019, due to the conditions I’ve listed above. I’ve stated all these things to have a rounded argument. Not just ‘number of deaths’ like you dishonestly claim is the basis of my argument. Instead of ignoring stuff I say and selectively choosing tiny isolated parts of my speech to debate with. Why don’t you put up some evidence of your claims that could refute what I’m saying? Where’s your evidence mate? If you’re going to be argumentative for the sake of it at least do a reasonable job.
