  1. Colonialism is not the reason why we have a neighborhood problem. Indic civilization may be at least 5000 thousand year old. We are still a multi national people, in spite of having the same cultural roots. In spite of the notion called Bharatvarsha. But colonialism is the reason why we exist as one country called India in the first place. And that too as a Republic. Else Balkanization of the subcontinent and bunch of Turki Sultanates. Minority and a racist rule...like South Africa...with no power shared with the native majority. Nawab of Bengal, Nizam of Hyderabad, Sultan of Mysore, Nawab of Arcot, Nawab of Awad and of course the biggest of them all, the one ruling from Dilli. All Turki Sultanates. Complete Turki colonization. Absolutely no Republic of India. Robert Clive was therefore the liberator...the real father of the modern nation-state called India, not some cunning baniya masquerading as a Godman. History is a difficult subject I guess.

  4.  @raawirless  yes, I know. But once you know and understand it. Your world view changes. In spite the economic exploitation by the British Empire. Your feel a deeper connect with the west. Race, colour of skin or religion is irrelevant.

  5.  @byron-ih2ge  unlike Africa or Australia or New Zealand or America or elsewhere...there was no British settlement in India. So technically, it was not colonization, but economic exploitation and then the empire.
