  1. Cable TV news media is the bad guy here I guess. Low TRP you will not survive in the crowded space...so something special is needed. Maybe over amplification of negative stories, politically biased reporting that people detest added to the miserable reporting and people perception of reporters. Maybe we can learn a thing or two from BBC. Not all reporting need not be negative. Some balance while reporting the so called breaking news. And people are tired of leftist intellectuals arrogance & dominating narrative. And then fake secularism and fake rationalism propagated by the English speaking elites. The Hindu looks like the most anti Hindu newspaper in India. All are past their sell of date. And newsprint is not particularly green I guess. Of course, theprint.in is a fresh air in this rotten garbage. Thanks to Shekhar Gupta. We will surely pay to listen to him, even when we disagree with what he have to say. Looks like a genuine attempt to report what is happening around us. Anyway, cable/satellite TV and news is prehistoric.
